Sarah Fiocco is a Senior Account Executive at kglobal supporting the Readiness Reform Oversight Council (RROC) with the U.S. Navy Office of Information (CHINFO). At CHINFO, Sarah conducts communication planning and media analysis on a broad range of RROC initiatives, working with stakeholders across the enterprise to assess the communication landscape, facilitate alignment and synchronize efforts.
Prior to joining the kglobal team, Sarah was a writer and editor with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in Gaithersburg, Maryland, where she helped to communicate the importance of technology transfer between industry and federal laboratories, and its role in boosting commercialization and the American economy.
Earlier in her career, she served as a Public Affairs Specialist at the Secretary of the Air Force Public Affairs Office where she performed communication strategy focusing on AFWERX – an innovation program that brings industry and Airmen together to help solve some of the Air Force’s toughest problems.
Sarah also served as an active-duty combat correspondent in the Marine Corps for eight years. During her time with the Marine Corps, she developed skills related to public affairs, including community outreach, media relations, writing, editing, photography and the Adobe Creative Suite.
One last thing… If Sarah’s not working, she’s probably hanging out with her Labrador mix, Penny.
