Katie McCalment is a strategic communications professional with a diverse set of skills spanning from strategy development, marketing and branding to publications and social media. At kglobal, Katie leads the U.S. Navy’s Chief of Information (CHINFO) contract working on communications alignment, strategy development and analysis.
Katie comes to the team from the U.S. Army, most recently supporting the Army Chief Information Officer/G-6 as the strategic communications team lead working on enterprise network modernization, cybersecurity and data and cloud migration communication campaigns. Before relocating to Virginia, she spent nearly five years supporting United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) in Hawaii as a communications planner and editor of a quarterly magazine focused on civil-military disaster response coordination. She finished her master’s degree in International Relations while serving on active duty in the Army.
One last thing… Katie is a woodworker in her spare time and has built her dining table, a bed for her daughter, and is currently working on built-in bookcases for her family room.
