Ian Carver works as an Account Supervisor leading the kglobal creative team located in Keyport, WA., serving the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Keyport. Ian has a wealth of communication and leadership experience obtained from his time in the U.S. Navy, civilian sector employment, and academic background.
Prior to joining kglobal, Ian worked as a Mass Communication Specialist in the Navy, where he led public affairs teams from the Navy Public Affairs Support Element (NPASE) on two deployments that spanned over 15 total months, 19 different countries, and seven bodies of water. Ian spent his final two years of active duty serving as an NPASE instructor where he developed courses in graphic design, photography, videography, and public affairs. Ian currently serves as a Mass Communication Specialist in the Navy Reserves. He has also spent time as a marketing manager for various civilian organizations before and after his active duty time.
Ian earned his B.S. in Business Administration from Central Washington University, completed an M.A. in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University, and an M.S. in Integrated Marketing and Communications from West Virginia University. He also holds a Public Affairs Specialist certificate from the Defense Information School.
One last thing… Ian loves cars and trucks. While serving as the marketing manager for a performance diesel truck company in Eastern Washington, Ian built a 6.5L Turbo Diesel powered Chevy truck that set a horsepower record at a dyno competition in Montana.
