Ellen Huber delivers disruptive yet precise communications and marketing strategies that drive real results for kglobal’s clients. She is an expert in business storytelling with experience in crisis communications, media relations, and branding.
A creative at heart, the digitally savvy designer sees client campaigns through from conceptualization, to execution, to optimization. With experience managing domestic and foreign clients across various industries, Ellen supports kglobal’s clients with digital, crisis, and public relations work.
Ellen is also a Mandarin Chinese speaker with a deep understanding of China politically, culturally, and economically. Her other areas of expertise include writing, editing, advertising, social media, influencer marketing, strategic media placement, search engine optimization, and brand messaging and development.
Ellen joins kglobal from The Moak Group where she worked on communications initiatives, digital design, and business development, most notably supporting a Chinese airline client in its North American marketing efforts. She led the client’s large-scale advertising campaigns from a strategy and design perspective, significantly boosting their brand awareness. Prior to that, Ellen worked for the US-China Business Council where she overhauled its digital presence, including their now award-winning online magazine.
Ellen also shaped strategic messaging on issues impacting the US-China economic relationship for the U.S. companies the Council represents. She previously led marketing efforts for China Goes West, which was a No. 1 International Business book on Amazon.
Ellen received her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Wake Forest University where she ran Cross Country and Track & Field.
