Denise Baltuskonis is a communication specialist, policy expert and data analyst with extensive experience supporting both public and private sector entities. She currently serves on the kglobal team supporting the U.S. Navy Office of Information (CHINFO) where she conducts media analysis and communication planning on key issues of importance to the Navy.
Prior to joining kglobal, Denise was a Research Assistant at the Turkish Industry and Business Association in Washington, DC, where she monitored media coverage and legislation related to U.S. foreign, economic and trade policies on behalf of the Board of Directors and 4,000 member-companies. Her work directly informed and supported advocacy efforts undertaken by and on behalf of foreign companies with U.S. investments across a host of industries ranging from infrastructure to banking. Her prior public-sector experience involved strategic planning and research for the U.S. Peace Corps, and conflict monitoring and data visualization for the U.S. Department of State. Denise earned her Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs from the George Washington University and her Master’s degree in International Relations, with a concentration in Security Studies, from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.
One last thing… Denise’s favorite museum in DC is the Newseum. She would be comparing narratives across front pages, even if it weren’t her job!
