Courtney Pories is a public relations specialist, branding strategist, and event planner. As an Account Associate at kglobal, she works with Dole Food Company, the Association of Public Land Grant Universities, a Fortune 20 company, and several crisis communications clients. She also serves as a branding and marketing consultant for over half a dozen companies looking to diversify their revenue stream, refresh their brand, or implement new marketing initiatives. Courtney enjoys providing a variety of clients with many PR services – from developing engaging digital content to media pitching and everything in between.
Prior to joining kglobal, Courtney has worked with Viacom and Ogilvy creating integrated marketing campaigns and social media strategies for Twix, Orbit, Trojan, Hilton, and Huawei. Courtney earned her B.A. degree in Public Relations and Advertising from Indiana University, where she was a writer for the Indiana Daily Student and did a variety of media work for IU Athletics, the IU Dance Marathon, and the Public Relations Student Society of America.
One last thing… Courtney interned for Ogilvy at their Beijing office, spending the summer exploring the country and the communications field. Speaking basic Chinese, she was able to not only learn about how an agency operates, but how to market to a new, unfamiliar audience. She’s still searching for comparable dumplings in America, and is open to suggestions.
